ABOUT THIS STORY

As technology usage is becoming more ingrained in our daily lives, we believe that the time spent interacting with technology, and the content consumed through it, may be impacting people's health.

To explore this topic, we focused on four points at which technology and health intersect:

 

mood, sleep, fitness and social interaction

Through a combination of research, data analysis and face-to-face conversations, we have analyzed some of the ways in which technology both benefits and harms people's health, and gained a deeper understanding of how people interact with — and feel about — technology.
